About

Introduced in the 1980's the Honda EX650 earned a reputation as the machine of choice for campers and caravanners, even today it is has no equal for silent running and rock solid reliability.
The EX650 is self-protecting with low oil shutdown and circuit breakers on both AC and DC circuits. The integrated control knob, as well as operating the choke, engages the stop switch and turns off the fuel supply with the same movement, ensuring the machine is never left with the fuel tap open. With battery charging, electronic ignition for easy starting and unparalleled silent running, the EX650 is still the finest suitcase generator ever produced.
The EX650 is designed with ease of maintenance in mind with two simple latches that allow the rear cover to be removed in seconds giving easy access to spark plug, air filter, carburetor and engine.

Warranty terms and conditions.
All our generators carry a 12-month parts and labour RTB (return to base) warranty for non-commercial use. Although the warranty is RTB we will always endeavor to accommodate our customers within the scope of our extensive travels around the country.
What is covered?
Failure of the engine, alternator, ignition coil, or any part in normal use.
What is not covered?
1) Carburetor blockages are not covered under the warranty. Every machine we sell has had the tank flushed and the carburetor removed and cleaned, but we have no control over the fuel that is put in after it is sold. If you don’t put dirty or contaminated fuel in the tank you won’t get a blocked carburetor. Having said all that it doesn’t mean that we will abandon you if you do get a blockage and the charge for removing and cleaning a carburetor is very modest.
2) Damage resulting from neglect or inappropriate use. For example failure to change the engine oil at the appropriate intervals. Inappropriate use would include subjecting the machine to electrical loads outside of it’s specified rating. Even though the EX650 has circuit breakers to protect against overloads it does not mean that when the breakers operate you can simply reset and continue to overload the generator. If the breakers operate it means you are doing something wrong. The EX650 is designed to run loads of 450watts continuous and 550watts peak at 50hz so don’t try to run your 1kw hair dryer with it.
